The Beginning

What is going on?

While I was at the Steelers' game Sunday night I got a text from Carrie. "Welp...here we go."

She included the screenshot to the left. We knew there was a meeting that evening of the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Youth Network. We knew they were voting on receiving us as missionary staff. We knew that if they said "yes" we would have a lot of work to do. As soon as the meeting was over, our friend and CYN Treasurer, Sarah, told Carrie the good news. We are now missionaries to the Bahamas, and now we need to start raising a team.

For the past 18 plus years we have served Hebron Church in Penn Hills, PA in student ministry, and musical worship roles. Now the Lord has called us to a new country, a new role, a new calling.

We would love for you to join us in this adventure. The Lord has made it clear to us that he wants us to serve his people in Abaco, Bahamas. We know that we are just the privileged family that gets to be the everyday hands and feet of a larger team who is sending us. We would love for you to be part of that team. You can help us by praying, giving, serving, encouraging, asking tough questions and many other ways which I can't think of right now.
